Day Six: Habitual Thinking

So I got home, a little buzzed from half Friday beer (because half Friday food apparently makes one susceptible) and found myself thinking, "Better get to sleep soon--there will still be a workout in the morning." Of course, it was barely 8 at night, so this was not, strictly speaking, true. But it felt good to already be in the habit of working out every morning, just because that's what I do now.

  1. Kim, this is great! I have fully moved into the territory where the daily workout is as routine as getting dressed, brushing teeth, etc. it's very freeing to not fret/dread/plan about the workout and instead to just know it's going to happen and accept it as part of life.

  2. It's awesome to hear that it's become such an integral part of your day. I, though, am still waiting for that to happen. Nathaly and I have been working out after I get home from work (roughly around 5 or 6pm) and although we have accepted this, it still feels fairly foreign.
