Day Ten: Where is the Energy?

Today I feel completely blah. Isn't there supposed to be lots of energy from all this healthy food? Should I blame it on accidental salt consumption (turns out that yesterday's tuna was almost certainly packed in brine--shopping and label-reading fail)? Whatever it is, I crashed right after lunch (not the salty tuna), and never really recovered.

There goes another yawn. Good night, y'all.

  1. hahaha EVERYONE i know is feeling this at the moment, even those not on PCP. im sure its something to do with the seasons or lunar mumble, but i dont know what it is. i actually found the first couple of the weeks some of the toughest as you are forcing your body into quite a lot of change. but before you know it. it will become routine and your body wont fight against you as much.

p.s i made your garlic, spinach, tomato, tuna pasta aubergine thingy yesterday for lunch. it was gorgeous. thanks for the inspiration! (i put some leftover aubergine in mine, was still yummy)

  2. kim -- that totally happened to me, too! Louise, maybe you're right, but i think it's all the digesting! lol. i took a 2 hr nap yesterday afternoon and only got up b/c i had to be at a potluck at 8pm (of course, i wasn't pot-lucking..). on a brighter note, getting up wasn't as hard this am...

  3. Yes, I agree with Louise. There are a lot of changes taking place and your body is trying to keep up. Lots of rest is a really good thing and doesn't mean you're weak.

  4. The energy will come, but when you least expect it and aren't looking for it.
